When’s a better time to enjoy water sports than in the summer? The sun is bright, the wind is cool, and the sea is as exciting as ever. So whatever activities you’re thinking of exploring—swimming, surfing, diving, or anything else—why not choose gear that offers not just great sun protection but also helps with efficient performance through creative design and sustainable materials?

Meet Kintana, a women’s swimwear brand based in Munich. They offer a wide range of swimwear, including one-piece suits, two-piece suits, rash guards, full-body suits, and more, all of which are designed to support any type of water activity while making you look and feel good. Most of Kintana's suits are made with sustainable materials such as limestone-based rubber foam, recycled polyester, and regenerated nylon, among others.

It doesn't end there: Kintana strives to weave sustainability into every step of their operations, from product development to the packaging they use for every order. Kintana partners with noissue for their packaging needs and chooses reusable, compostable, and recyclable packaging essentials as an alternative to wasteful, often single-use materials. Tell us a bit about your brand!

Kintana was born to redefine the way women experience water activities. Created and run by a female led team, we're dedicated to crafting innovative waterwear that seamlessly blends performance, style, and sustainability.

Katharina Khadjavi, founder of Kintana

From wetsuits and rash guards to swimwear, our focus is not only on providing high-quality products but also on empowering women to embrace water adventures with confidence. We are based in Munich, Germany and produce all our collections in Europe using recycled fabrics and more sustainable alternatives to classic neoprene.

Tell us about the design for your packaging and how you’re using them?

We always design our packaging using our core brand colors that are reminiscent of nature and the ocean while adding a pop of color. In addition, we recently started to work with artists to design fun elements of our packaging such as our tote bags and stickers.

We worked with Dustin Kalynuk to design our ocean inspired tote and Sonja Katariina Vahasaari, a brilliant surfer and graphic designer, to create our stickers. For us, it’s more than packaging, it’s a way to work creatively with our brand and community.

What made noissue a good fit for your packaging?

Sustainability is at the core of everything we do so noissue was the ideal fit. Not only because of the great sustainable options provided but because of the low minimum order quantities. At Kintana we only order what we need and noissue allows us to do so, limiting our waste while enjoying limitless creativity. This way we can keep our packaging sustainable, fun and exciting!
