Co-founders Jeff Kurosaki and Tara Pelletier’s shared mission to create truly sustainable, plant-based, and cruelty-free skin and body essentials through a zero-waste, closed-loop, and small-batch production system is what created Meow Meow Tweet in 2009.

Hello, we are Meow Meow Tweet! A queer and AAPI-led vegan apothecary.

From handmade soaps to botanical insect repellent to refillable deodorant cream and a complete facial routine, we are committed to creating effective, plant-based products for all bodies.

We were the first brand to put a deodorant stick in a compostable paper tube. We are proudly B Corp, Leaping Bunny, and Plastic Negative Certified.

Tell us about the design for your packaging and how you’re using them?

We believe that your deodorant stick shouldn't outlive you, and neither should your packaging materials. Our packaging is 100% recyclable and/or backyard compostable. Our cornstarch packing peanuts can be dissolved in water and then used to water your plants.

We love to make our customers smile with drawings made by co-founder Jeff. Those go on all the custom paper tape we use to seal our boxes and the custom tissue paper that we print with noissue.

We know that our customers love the tissue paper so much that they reuse it to wrap gifts. It always smells so good because it rubs against our products! People also ball it up and use it as a cat toy. Of course, when it's been used beyond repair, it can be recycled with the paper recycling.
